By using the SaleHop mobile application to post, locate, or attend sales, you (“User”) acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions described in this User Agreement. Use of the SaleHop platform constitutes acceptance of these terms, whether you are listing a sale, browsing listings, or attending a sale discovered through the app.
You represent and warrant that any information you submit in a sale listing—including address, sale dates and times, item descriptions, and photos—is accurate, complete, and not misleading. SaleHop reserves the right to remove any listing that is determined to contain false, deceptive, or prohibited content.
You understand and accept that your sale listing, including the physical address and event details, will be publicly visible to other users of the platform and may be accessed by individuals located within a certain geographic radius. By sharing this information, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with public exposure.
Whether attending a sale or hosting one, you acknowledge and accept full personal responsibility for any outcomes related to the use of the SaleHop platform. This includes, but is not limited to, property damage, theft, miscommunication, fraud, disputes, loss, injury, or interactions with third parties. SaleHop, its developers, employees, affiliates, and partners shall not be held liable for any claims or damages resulting from your use of the platform, including attending, hosting, or transacting at sales.
Sale listings on SaleHop are user-generated content submitted by independent third parties. SaleHop does not guarantee, verify, or warrant the accuracy, legality, or availability of any listing, item, or location. When attending sales, you acknowledge that doing so involves inherent risks such as entering private property and interacting with strangers. You assume these risks voluntarily and agree to conduct yourself safely and respectfully at all times.
You agree to visit only during the hours specified in the listing and to follow all reasonable requests made by the property owner or seller. Any acts of trespassing, loitering, or behavior that violates property rights or local laws are strictly prohibited.
SaleHop does not screen or verify the identity or intentions of users, whether buyers or sellers. It is your responsibility to exercise judgment and take appropriate precautions when attending sales and/or interacting with others at sales found through the platform. You are also solely responsible for ensuring that your sale and any items you offer comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and ordinances. This includes, but is not limited to, securing any necessary permits, complying with signage rules, and prohibiting the sale or promotion of illegal, restricted, or hazardous items.
The posting of stolen property, counterfeit goods, weapons, drugs, sexually explicit material, or any content that infringes intellectual property rights is strictly forbidden. SaleHop reserves the right to remove any such content without notice and will cooperate with law enforcement authorities by providing user-submitted information as required by law.
Navigation and mapping services are provided through third-party platforms such as Google Maps or Apple Maps. SaleHop does not guarantee the accuracy or availability of these services and disclaims all liability for any navigation issues, delays, errors, or detours resulting from their use.
When using the SaleHop app for navigation or while in a moving vehicle, you agree to follow all applicable traffic laws, including those governing the use of mobile devices while driving. You must not interact with the app or operate your device in any way that distracts from safe vehicle operation or violates hands-free or other mobile use restrictions. Users are responsible for complying with all relevant traffic, parking, and public safety laws when traveling to or hosting sales found through the app.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SaleHop, its developers, employees, affiliates, and partners from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your use of the platform, your content submissions, your participation in sales, or your violation of any applicable laws or this agreement.
